The December Everyday Hero is always incredibly polite and respectful to all teachers and peers. As a junior, he goes out of his way to reach out to underclassmen students, especially freshmen, to help ease their transition to the high school, even though he is not a member of the Peer Leader program. He is always looking out for the best interest of others. A quick example from this month, he noticed upon his arrival to school a car running in the parking lot, lights on, and keys in the ignition. He decided to check back during his Period 4 lunch to see if it was still running. He came back into school (soaking wet, it was raining that day!) to let Ms. Nickell know the make, model, and license plate of the vehicle. Small acts of concern and kindness are inspiring and definitely deserve recognition! His dedication to his community is evident because during his free time, he performs yard work services for his neighborhood. His actions are truly selfless and his behaviors make him an incredible role model for everyone in the BHS community! Logan Weimer certainly deserves the title of BHS Everyday Hero.
