We’ve seen recent discussions at school board meetings including the debate of potentially moving the start date of school. Some prefer to keep the BHS start date how it is now, with students returning from summer break after Labor Day, while others believe that it would be beneficial for students to start even earlier, prior to Labor Day weekend.
