Sami Bender
Senior Sami Bender qualified for the Meet of Champions in 3 individual events and 2 relays. She got her personal bests in the 2 individual events she swam in. She finished 11th overall in the entire state in the 100 free. Her most memorable moments “finaling at MOCs and also breaking the school record" her junior year in the 50 free. Sami also got MVP for the season.
Meghan Robinson
Junior Meghan Robison qualified for the NJSIAA Meet Of Champions for swimming. She broke her own school record in the 100 breaststroke. Her most successful moment this year was “when she finished in the top 16 and got to swim it again at finals.”
Grace Korey
Junior Ashley Hartnett qualified for Meet Of Champions. Along with her teammates they went the second best time in the 200 freestyle relay, they also dropped their time and got top 5 in BHS’s records. Although her and the team did not break a school record this year she is “hoping they will next year”
Tommy Ambelang
Junior Thomas Ambelang qualified for the Meet of Champions and placed 33rd in the state for the 50 free. His most memorable moment of the year “was getting the time cut for Meet of Champions at the Skyland Conference Championships and placing 3rd overall.”
Nick Villani
Junior Nick Villani qualified for regions and states as an individual wrestler. He won districts and took second in the region. Nick was the first region finalist since 2006.
