Cafe Sapori, a couple-owned Italian restaurant, is the newest addition to the Harding Town Center.
In 2017, Matt and Mani, with a combined 25 years of service, opened their first bring your own bottle (BYOB) restaurant. Originally, you could only find the contemporary restaurant in Morristown, New Jersey, however as the years went on, we saw the brand expanding. Building upon their original accomplishments, its journey is mainly focused on bringing its menu and inviting ambiance to another level.
Their success stems from the precision and care that they both put into their work. Their main goal is to have their customers satisfied with the meals and hospitality. They provide dine-ins, curbside pickup, and delivery.
Not only does the Italian restaurant offer well-made food, but also rooms dedicated to special events. Single rooms, multiple rooms, or the entirety of the restaurant is available for reservation as well. With all that Cafe Sapori offers, the restaurant has become a favorite among many locals.
Their atmosphere has drawn many people into their establishment, making Thursdays and Saturdays the busiest days of the week, with the restaurants closed on Tuesdays. Cafe Sapori is known for its vibrant aura and contemporary style. Matt and Mani’s determination to open a second location allows even more people to experience the different dishes and assist the venture of growing their business even more.
Luke Hartjen ‘24 said “The new Cafe Sapori is a pretty big building with fast service. The Penne Vodka pasta is ranked high among the ones I’ve tried. The overall experience was good.”
The cafe carries authentic northern and southern Italian cuisine that Luigi Spataro, the chef, takes immense pride in with his great understanding of the industry. The attention to detail provides a well-balanced meal for consumers to enjoy.
Cafe Sapori’s general hard work has paid off with the success that has been flooding in recently. Overall, the restaurant has a high rating of 4.7 stars based on Google Reviews. On average their customers spend 1-2.5 hours inside the business.
